Narrative description of Project: The main focus of the project is; To literate minimum 4,000 youth and adults of age brackets (10-14) and (15-44) respectively in the focused two district of Balochistan through establishment of literacy centers To enhance the literacy ratio of youth and adults of the focused districts To identify and capacitate 200 adult literacy teachers in the focused district of II, M Model To advocate and mobilize communities about youth and adult literacy To develop linkages with district government, EDO community development to seek their support in the implementation of the project
Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment: The following activities are carried out under the project Meetings with district authorities to make aware them about project performas designing for data collection and monitoring and Data base development Identification of target villages and conduction of scanning survey of the area Identification and selection of literacy centers, clustering of the centers and selection of learners Provision of reading writing and skill development material in centers Centers teachers, cluster supervisors and master trainers have been capacitated on the ILM model Field teams are capacitated on monitoring and evaluation Conduction of literacy classes and Follow up visits are held Assessment of teachers and students performance and regular monitoring visits are held
