Narrative description of Project: The mission of this project was to impart knowledge about basic hygiene and primary environmental care among people of 50 government primary schools by building capacity of school teachers and others provision of water and sanitation facilities and developed primary school as entry point for household sanitation.
Description of actual services provided : 1. Arranged school competitions for primary environmental care and award ceremony at district level in Barkhan and Pishin 2. Reactivated and formed PTSMCs/ CBOs and their orientations in primary environmental care. 3. Imparted three days training to 100 teachers 20 DOs/ EDOs/ DEOs/ SDOs learning coordinators of Barkhan and Pishin districts 4. Two days training workshops of members of PTSMCs 5. 25 hand pumps along their accessories procured provided and installed. 6. 50 latrines rehabilitated 130 teachers trained in teaching kits 7. 300 hygiene kits supplied
