| Narrative description of Project:
The main objective of the EQUIP was building capacity of CSP school teachers for quality teaching in the classroom. It also aimed at building sustainable partnership among NGOs, teachers training institutions, EFOs and communities besides institutionalisation of W/VECs to build sustainable partnership with the government and strengthening of the NGOs to facilitate program implementation and to become sustainable through diversification in activities. |
Description of actual services provided:  Assisted Executive Officers with consolidation of CSP and help with the development of policy reform ; recommendations Planned, implemented and documented the field based activities for consolidation of Community Support ; Program Imparted training to field teams/ village education committees, teachers training institutions, master ; trainers and EFOs in process of quality education Monitored the performance of primary schools, communities and village education committees Initiated such activities which lead to make the government/ community partnership sustainable Established ten clusters of 5-8 CSP schools in each region provided by monthly training to the VECs/ WVECs in the clusters and did regular follow up support Held quarterly review sessions on EFO job description related to the CSP process Imparted half yearly two weeks training of targeted CSP school teachers and carried out regular follow up support to the selected schools Half yearly cycles of training for LCs/ ADOs and master trainers of teachers training institutions |
