Narrative description of Project: The objectives of this program were to increase primary school participation of girls children between the age of 5-9. It further aimed at improving children mastery of basic concepts, skills and values with at least 75% achievements in test of basic competencies.
Description of actual services provided : Facilitated the recruitment of 144 female teachers through community support process Established 2nd shift schooling for girls in focused boys schools ensuring retention and completion Facilitated quarterly project coordination committee meetings Convert ¬ VECs/ WVECs into PTSMCs Provided follow up support to project schools for enrolment, retention teachers and students attendance and improvement of PTSMCs participation
