Narrative description of Project: The project aimed at improving the quality of education at primary level in Loralai and Lasbela districts by imparting trainings to the teachers, clustering the schools, providing the lead teachers to monitor and support the teachers on the job, activating the PTSMCs and creating a linkage between the school and the PTSMCs and PTSMC and EFOs. Helping the government improve their planning techniques and strategies for promotion of education and enhancing quality of education in both the districts.
Description of actual services provided: The following services were provided Clusterization of schools on the basis of data collected at school and household level Introduction of Lead Teachers for each clusters of school Training need assessment of teachers and preparation of training module/ guides Capacity building of teachers to enable them teach more effectively Establishment of Cluster Learning Centers Support to the teachers through radio programs Conduction of seminars on quality education Activating the PTSMCs Monitoring and supervision of schools and supporting the government to revisit its policies
