Narrative description of Project: This project was obligated to set up sanitation communication culture at district level to raise sanitation awareness in families and communities besides increasing household latrine coverage by 20% in the district and building capacity at district, union council and community level.
Description of actual services provided : 50 participants of district level seminar (Govt/ NGOs) become aware of sanitation acceleration approach and district coordinator committee formed. 100 participants of sub divisional level seminars (Govt/ NGOs) become aware of sanitation acceleration approach and district coordinator committee formed. 240 participants of union council level seminars (Govt/ NGOs) become aware of sanitation acceleration approach Quarterly meetings of district/ sub divisional and UCs coordination committees held People of 90 villages participated in the village level seminars and become aware of sanitation acceleration approach and 90 village water and sanitation committees formed 150 people participated in walk for sanitation acceleration Community/ street theatre organized School competition on “sanitation” conducted among 200 children
